About the Role:

As a Cloud Integration Project Manager, you will oversee and actively drive the end-to-end process of transitioning Ascom’s infrastructure, applications, and services to the cloud. You will engage with DevOps and CloudOps engineers daily, leveraging your technical understanding of cloud computing. You will work closely with stakeholders from product management and R&D to set requirements for service delivery and the cloud operating model. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating the implementation of cloud-based systems and acting as a liaison between business executives and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define organizational, processual, and technological requirements to enable a seamlessly scalable cloud-based solution portfolio
  
• Own project planning and execution by coordinating project timelines and milestones
  
• Engage with stakeholders from sales, local delivery teams, product management, and finance.
• Ensure cloud architecture solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and third-party vendors.
• Optimize existing cloud deployments and manage cloud usage to minimize costs while maintaining performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Project Management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum) are required.
• Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect are preferred.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience as a Cloud Architect or in a comparable role.
• Proven track record of managing complex transformative projects, especially in cloud computing or IT.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Java, Go) is a plus.
